Our History

The Office of Global Scholarships (OGS) started as the Overseas Resource Center (ORC). We rebranded in November 2022 to clarify what we do and better set expectations for students & alumni alike.

Our Past Focus

Historically, the ORC used to provide all sorts of resources like work opportunities, overseas internships, and more.

Our Current Focus

Today, OGS is focused on these two focus areas:

1. Help undergraduates and graduate students, and recent alumni match their interests to global scholarship opportunities, and advise them through the application & interview process
2. Administer the campus application and endorsement processes for global scholarships, including the Rhodes, Marshall, and Fulbright
